Getting started in Pilates has never been easier! Jumping right into group classes might seem a bit daunting to some, or you may have an injury or chronic condition. If so, check out the options below for a more customized introduction to Pilates.

Introductory Private Session: Our Introductory Session is a 60-minute lesson with one of our talented instructors. Your instructor will talk to you about your goals, introduce you to the studio and the equipment, teach you Pilates fundamentals and some exhilarating movement. At the close of your session, your teacher will help you to decide on a Pilates plan of action that is right for you. Cost: $80. Click here to book your session.

Starter Series: The best way to get started in Pilates is to take a series of private sessions. Your instructor will teach you the fundamentals of the work to help you get the most out of your continuing practice, whether that is more private sessions, group classes, equipment classes. home workouts, independent workouts or, ideally, a combination of all of these!
Our starter series consists of an Introductory Private Session plus four additional private sessions. Cost: $325. This summer, take 30% off the cost of our Starter Series with coupon code SUMMER2010. Click here to book your session.

Pilates 101: Each month we offer this three-class series to introduce the studio, the group classes, and the equipment. Pilates 101 covers the fundamentals, basic mat exercises, some standing Towelwork, and exercises on the Reformers and Ped-a-Pul (the traditional spring-resistance equipment). Though you won’t get the focused attention of a private session, it’s an affordable way to get a taste of the work! Cost: $75. Click here to enroll.

Any of the above options will provide a solid introduction to Pilates and help you decide what plan of action is right for you. In addition, feel free to schedule a tour of the studio where you can ask questions and get personalized suggestions to fit your budget and your wellness goals.
